The IP54 Rated Mitex Link is our most compact, IP rated UHF radio, designed with versatility and ease of use in most environments in mind. With a full 5-watt power output on UHF, the Link is a powerful, durable, yet very compact radio that delivers clear and reliable communications in most conditions. The Mitex Link is supplied pre-programmed to our new, quieter Link channels 1 to 8 and is ready to use straight from the box. The Link also talks to our General range on channels 9 through 15, as well as the Pro & DMR units. Also, Channels 13, 14 and 15 are common across all Mitex UHF hand portables. Channel 16 offers a scan function.
The Mitex Link applications are endless, providing a simple, very compact and robust communications solution for consumers and business alike. The Link is widely used for activities such as hiking, cycling & Motorsport as well as being an effective tool in schools, shops, industry and warehouse applications. The Mitex Link is also the perfect step up for the PMR446 user that has a more robust, powerful and private need than license free radios can provide. The Link will talk to any standard Link, as well as the full General range on channels 9 through 15, straight from the box. The new Link channels are also covered under the same licence as our other units, making it ideal as a step up to a more durable and robust, but compact IP54 Rated unit to use with existing Generals. Existing Mitex Headsets and Antennas can also be used with the Mitex Link and a new Six Way Charger will be available very soon. Legal operation of these units requires a current Business Radio Light License, available from Ofcom at just £75 for 5 years; one license covers an unlimited number of handsets. The license application form is included in the box and simple to fill out.
